What is my Cause:

My name is Rachel Peterson, and I am a fourteen-year-old Christian living in San Diego. Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for government, and I wish to become a conservative politician to preserve the rights of others. But to do this, I need education to show me how it is done. Therefore, I am trying to attend a program called Patriot Academy, which teaches young people how the legislative process works. However, I need your help because to get there and pay for tuition costs $1,305! I know that like David and Goliath, one individual can make a difference. I have tried requesting funds from elected officials but have not received anything yet. Therefore, any donation you make will help me achieve this goal.

How this money will be spent:

All $1,305 will go directly to this camp, with $1,047 covering my tuition, which includes food, transportation, and hotel fees, and $258 covering my airfare. The donations received will go directly to paying the tuition. My goal is to raise this money by June 1.

How the program will help me:

Any amount you choose to give will help me achieve my goal to conservative politics. How? This program gives students the opportunity to act as a representative, write their own bill, debate it, and attempt to get it passed. Moreover, its sessions are held at the Texas state capitol, and its speakers range from representatives, local elected officials, policy experts, and other passionate citizens who are well-educated in the area of government.

Why it matters:

My fellow countrymen, patriots, and Americans, I hope you will seriously consider donating any amount to this cause. Why to me? Simply because of this: I represent a generation who desires to serve their community and their exceptional country, America. I am trying to be God’s willing vessel who can impact society with His help.
