Hi Help Rachel and her family through her breast cancer mastectomy and breast reconstruction surgery. 

Rachel has already been through 2 surgeries already. The first surgery was a biopsy to find out if the 2 fibroadenomas were cancerous or not. 1/2 was cancerous and the other one was benign. Rachel then had a second surgery 2 weeks ago for them to go in to remove more of the cancerous cells. When they went back in they found even more cancerous cells. After talking with the doctor about this findings Rachel received lots of information on whether or not to have a 3rd surgery for them to go and try to get more of the cancer out or just have a mastectomy. She has done research and talked with her doctor about what the best this for her to do is. The doctor didn't suggest anything because they technically can't. They said they'll support her with whatever decision she makes. 

Rachel will be out of work for 4-6 weeks possibly more. She doesn't have short/Long term disability with her job. Without Rachel's income for this time their family will be struggling to pay everyday bills since her husband Tom is on Social security disability from a car accident years ago and only gets a little bit from the government. Anything would help them. I know it's hard to ask for help around the holidays but they are a family that is definitely going to need help during this holiday season as they have a lot of things going on physically with Rachel and mentally with the entire family.
