Help Rachel Create Lasting Memories with Her Family

Please Read Rachel's Cancer Story and consider donating to her family so she can make lasting memories with her family during these uncertain times.

Rachel is a young loving mother and wife in her mid-thirties who has had to endure more in the last 2 years than any of us can fathom. In June 2022, Rachel felt a lump in her breast. After testing, she was diagnosed in July 2022 with stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma. She had a mastectomy and removed 7 lymph nodes. Clear margins, clear nodes. Had a high recurrence score so she did 4 rounds of taxotere/cytoxan (chemo). She did not meet standards to do radiation.

At a follow-up MRI in July 2023, doctors found cancerous lymph nodes in her armpit. Surgery showed 6 cancerous ones. Did 12 rounds of taxol, 4 rounds AC which led to 3 hospitalizations/2 blood transfusions.

Rachel went through 25 rounds of radiation which ended in May 2024. She is currently on meds to suppress ovaries/estrogen and verzenio.

Rachel finally finished her treatments and was so happy to ring the bell to signify she finished treatment after cancer round 2 with a total of 2 surgeries, 16 rounds of chemo, including several hospitalizations and blood transfusions, and the 25 rounds of radiation.

In July 2024, she went back to the doctors after finding a swollen lymph node at the base of her neck. Imaging revealed cancer there, opposite side armpit lymph node, a node in the back abdomen, a cluster of nodes near the liver, and about 10 nodules in the liver.
She will most likely be looking at another round of chemo, but she is waiting on her biopsy consult. Treatment will be decided after the result comes back to see if/how it mutated. ( we will update as we find out what is going on.)

Rachel has gone through 2 rounds of chemo, and all of her radiation treatment while still working on the weekends and homeschooling her son. Her husband works during the week leaving hardly any time for then to spend quality family time together. With the uncertainty of what the future holds for Rachel and another round of treatment potentially on the way, her sole focus is now spending as much time as possible and having as many adventures with her husband and son. She is currently in the process of filing for disability, but this will create a very heavy financial burden on her family.

Rachel has started to compile a list of all the things she would like to do with her family. Please consider donating to Rachel's Family Adventure fund so they can spend as much quality time together as they possibly can.

Rachel's main focus is creating lasting memories her husband and son can have forever and living life to the fullest every day.

Please help make this possible for her family. Every little bit helps.
