On August 20, 2025, my daughter, Rachel Chambers, was in a terrible car accident. Her car rolled several times and landed on its roof. She was life-flighted to Pittsburgh and has been in the ICU ever since. For the first 5 days, she was unconscious and on a ventilator. She has had 4 surgeries to stop the internal bleeding and to try to repair her liver, which was lacerated in 3 places. She then had to have part of her liver removed due to the extensive damage caused by the accident. Rachel has a young son (my grandson) and is a single mother with no health insurance. She and her fiancé, Josh, have already been living paycheck to paycheck, and now they have lost her income. Rachel has a long, hard road to recovery. Her utilities and other bills are already behind, and her medical bills are going to be astronomical. I have never asked anybody for anything, but I don't know what else to do to try to help them. Any donations, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will go towards Rachel's medical bills and getting her caught up on her other bills.
