Rachel and Rui (and their cat Athena) are okay, but they just lost everything in a fire.
They didn’t just lose the replaceable items that (hopefully) renter’s insurance may partially cover, but also pictures, souvenirs, knickknacks, love letters—the memories they’d created and the home they built.
Two of the most selfless and giving people many of us know need our love and support. They need money to rebuild their lives. They need help but would never ask. So I’m going to for them:

In only a few weeks, the couple is moving cross-country to the PNW. They don’t have to worry about how they’ll transport their possessions, but they do have to replace everything from utensils to clothes to linens to cat food to…everything.
