Welcome and a heartfelt thank you for your interest in providing assistance in this time of need. This page is to help centralize a place for financial support to assist Rachel and PK beginning the process of recovering and restoring their home after the major flooding on 8/10/2025. This flood enveloped the entire basement and six inches of the main floor, making the home unlivable while doing the gutting and restoration process. Rachel and PK had purchased their first home together and closed in June, with just finishing new flooring and moving in only a few short weeks ago.

They expect a significant cost out of pocket to mitigate mold infiltration, repair home damage, and just help out with other unexpected needs along the way. No amount is too small as every bit will help.

Rachel's sister, Kim Hicks, created this page to help coordinate all of the wonderful offers of help from friends and family that are coming in to avoid overwhelming them with too much all at once.

If you are unable to help out at this time, remember this recovery process will take time and support is needed not only right now, but likely long after the initial crisis passes.
