Hello, this go fund me is for Rachel Kamps Huffman and her husband, Michael Huffman, to surround them with the love and financial support they have so freely given to others over the years.

This season has brought unexpected and serious health challenges for both of them. Michael has recently begun treatment for prostate cancer. While simultaneously, after months of a persistent cough and not feeling well, Rachel was hospitalized & diagnosed with stage IV metastatic cancer. At this time, doctors are still working to determine the primary origin and formulate a plan for the best path forward.

As you can imagine, this has been overwhelming & yet, even in the midst of uncertainty, their faith, love for one another, and deep gratitude for community remain steady.

Many of you know Rachel and Michael as the people who show up…the ones who give, serve, and quietly care for others without hesitation. Michael, an arborist, has spent his life tending and strengthening what grows. Rachel, a massage therapist, has brought healing through her hands and heart. Together they have supported countless causes, hosted and participated in fundraisers, and given generously of their time and resources.

Rachel is an active member of Christ Episcopal Church, volunteers faithfully, and shares her musical gifts in ministry, including at Mayo Clinic and other places where comfort and hope are needed most. Their lives have been marked by service.

Now it is our turn to show up for them and provide financial support as medical and daily living expenses grow.
