Help Rachel and Gregorio Rebuild Life

I’m Rachel kim and a few months ago my darling partner Gregorio Alvarez was in a terrible wreck in his Honda Acty in the swamps of Slidell. He died three times but was brought back and lost his right leg where he had to immediately have an above the knee amputation.

After spending 100 days in the hospital he is finally home with me and our dog Fernando thankfully so. At the beginning of this traumatic happening- based on benefit shows and donations from the community we were able to raise 10k for Gregos recovery- him being able to get another car as well as other medical expenses this time will cost us.

I am setting up this GoFundMe to cover the expenses of living such as rent, bills, and Uber rides to and from Gregos physical therapy sessions that we go to twice a week.

Grego is recovering and getting stronger everyday but he will not be able to go back to work for a long period of time which leaves me with much of the financial burden of life expenses. And I have been going out of own pocket to cover everything since I really don’t want to touch the money raised for Gregorio’s medical needs and to get back on his feet once he is able to have access to a prosthetic.
