Hi everyone! As you know my sister Rachael had to have another unexpected heart surgery this past April, her 3rd one. Poor thing has been through so much but she’s so strong. My family and I are creating this to help her cover her medical costs that just hit. Rachael had to get her mitral valve replaced, tricuspid valve repaired and a new pacemaker placed resulting in a 2 week stay in the hospital which also lead her to being out of work for almost 3 months with no pay, she was unable to draw FMLA through her new job as she had not been there for 6 months yet. With the hospital stay, all the specialists visits and the actual operation after insurance coverage Rachael is responsible for $4989.00, so honestly any bit will help! We just want Rachael to focus on healing and not be so extremely stressed out about the costs she has to cover.
