Help Rac Replace Her Shattered Lens

Whether you know me as Ractora, Rac, or Rachel, you probably know how much I love creating videos and sharing my cosplay and photography online. For those who are just getting to know me, I’m an aspiring fantasy and cosplay content creator, and I also do professional photography on the side. I’m still early in my journey and currently between jobs.

Recently, I went on a hike to film some cosplay content inspired by Fourth Wing, something I was really excited about. When I reached the top and started setting up my gear, I accidentally stumbled, and my camera fell against a boulder. The front of my lens was completely shattered. Thankfully, the camera body seems to be okay, but this was the only lens I owned. Earlier this year, I sold my Canon gear to switch to Sony, and I haven’t had a chance to build up a lens collection yet.

Since I’m still searching for stable income, losing my lens has taken out both of my creative income streams: my photography work and my Twitch streaming. I’ll try to keep streaming using my phone for now, but photography will have to be paused completely.

To be honest, it feels weird asking for help. I’m a pretty stubborn person and usually want to figure things out on my own. But for the first time in a long while, I’ve been feeling really inspired by content creation and cosplay, and I hate feeling stuck without a way to keep going.

I’m trying to raise just enough to replace what I lost with a solid, used lens that can help me get back to work. Any amount you’re able to give would mean the world to me, and even reading this far means a lot. Thank you for supporting my creative journey in any way you can. -Rac
