Hi everyone! I’m Erica Czewski. I’m making this to help support Quinton’s family in there time of need. I’d like to lift a little burden off his family in the mix of a tragedy with lots of unanswered questions still. On Monday February 10th Quinton who’s 11 years old suffered from a stroke. He was a normal healthy 11 year old boy. I’d like to help ease the upcoming financial burden of commuting back and forth for his family while they are by his side. Any medical or household bills also. His mom can’t work right now because shes by his side fighting with him. They also have 2 other children too. Quinton has currently under multiple surgeries and isn’t out of the woods yet. So let’s all ban together as a community and help this family get through such an unexpected tragedy! This will help his mom commute back and forth pay unexpected medical expenses. Also relieve the burden of having to worry about bills while she’s by his side.

As some of you know already my son has had a extremely life changing event occur. A stroke. You never can comprehend how a 11 year old could possibly have a stroke. Quinton was life flighted to Royal Oak and after having two brain surgeries, first lasted around 10ish hours, and the second was to remove a section of his bone to help with the swelling inside his brain. He is so strong and resilient ! He is currently intubated( going on 19 hours) they stopped the sedation a little over a hour ago to see if he would respond to noise or touch and he did excellent ! Quinton has some weakness on his left side but the extent cant be determined until
He is fully awake and moving, it is to be expected with the stroke but he responded better than the doctor thought he would to pain on that side so that was amazing to hear! The doctors also say that they don’t know the exact cause, and no matter what it’s something that was out of my control. Being his mom I have sat here and combed thru every single thing I could have done to have prevented this. The doctors have been extremely supportive and reassuring that I responded extremely fast and did what was the right thing to do, and that plays a big factor in the outcome. We have a long road ahead of us and I just want to have Quinton have the most support possible! Please keep him in your prayers! Please. God is so good, and I know that he will bring us through this! I will keep updating when I can!
