Hi, my name is Quinn. I am a 24 year old student at a local community college who works two jobs to afford to progress my degree. This isn't about me, its about the the help that I am unable to provide alone.
My family comes from extremely humble beginnings but we never imagined we would be in this position.
We are asking for help to support someone who has spent her life caring for everyone around her; my mom.
Over the past months, my mother’s health has declined rapidly. What began as a series of concerning symptoms led to repeated hospital visits, specialist appointments, and tests. Eventually we received the devastating news that she is experiencing serious heart failure, along with several other medical complications that require multiple surgeries and ongoing specialized care.
Since then, our lives have become a cycle of hospital rooms, waiting rooms, and difficult conversations with doctors. My mother, Watching someone you love struggle with their health is heartbreaking. My mother has always been a strong, compassionate person. The kind of person who eats, sleeps and breathes love and positivity even in hard times. Shows up when others need help and gives even when she has little. Seeing her smile dwindle is devastating and I want to do everything in my power to see her smile again. This time around she is the one who needs support.
The medical care she requires is life-saving, but it also comes with an overwhelming financial burden. Between hospital stays, specialists, procedures, and upcoming surgeries, the total cost of her care is estimated to reach around $200,000.
Like many families, we are doing everything we can to manage these expenses, but the reality is that the cost of saving her life is far beyond what we can handle alone.
We are starting this fundraiser to help cover:
•Hospital stays and emergency care
•Multiple heart-related surgeries
•Specialist visits and ongoing treatment
•Medications, equipment and recovery costs
EVERY donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward my mother’s medical care and recovery. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page with others would mean the world to us.
Most importantly, we want my mom to be able to focus on healing and fighting for her health, rather than worrying about the financial weight of the care she needs.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for your kindness, and for any support you can offer our family.
Genuinly
Thank you.
