Help Quinnely get Top Surgery

Hey there to my friends, families and passerbys; my name is Quinnely. I’m a transgender (FtM), Iranian artist in need of your help. I cherish the time you are about to spend listening to my story, the words I write carry a cacophany of pain and hope.

I don’t feel safe in my body and I have been working hard in the background to afford top surgery privately with Mr. Philip Rubin. I’ve felt like I’ve been waiting to start my life, just floating.

I’ve been on NHS gender clinic waiting lists for coming up to 6 years. I was first seen by Tavistock (youth) gender clinic only to be told they could not help me as I was almost 18. The adults service was a more peaceful process but NHS waitlists are overwhelmed and I could be looking at a wait of up to 2 years till surgery. When you think about it I started the wait at 13, the dread and drone of waking up and not recognising myself has only grown with time. I try to combat these feeling in my artwork by making my existence a performance, but this show must come to a close for the sake of my mental health. The consultation is £225 and surgery is £8500- I’m almost there!

I cannot ignore my passion to do more, and with your help I can enter into the next phase of my life. Through your support I will be able to have my gender affirming surgery and continue onward as I have my eyes set on the horizon.
