We’re asking for help for a tiny soul with a huge fight ahead of her. Quinn is a spunky little firecracker—full of life, attitude, and so much love. Just days ago, she was running around, happy and full of energy. Then, without warning, everything changed. Quinn became critically ill almost overnight and was diagnosed with a severe autoimmune disease called Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) that is now threatening her life. Since then, she’s been in a constant fight to survive. She has already needed multiple blood transfusions just to keep going. Each one has helped buy her more time—but she’s still not out of danger. Her family is devastated, watching their vibrant, joyful girl battle something so sudden and so serious. They are doing everything they can to save her, refusing to give up on her as long as she keeps fighting. And Quinn is fighting—with everything she has.
The cost of her emergency care continues to rise with every treatment, every transfusion, every day she holds on. Heather and Benjie are lost without her and drive back and forth to Sioux Falls every single day to visit with her for an hour. No family is ever prepared for something like this. Heather and Benjie will never ask for help with their overwhelming expenses, but we as their friends and family can do everything we can to help.
If you can help, even a small donation could make a difference in Quinn’s chance to survive. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this page and keeping her in your thoughts means more than you know. Quinn is so loved. She deserves the chance to come home, to feel safe again, and to get back to being the fiery little spark that lights up every room. Thank you for standing with Quinn and her family during this incredibly difficult time.
