Help Quinn & Biscuit Find Safety in Colorado

Hey Y'all!

I'm Quinn (they/he) and the kitty is Biscuit! We are in Texas and it has become very unsafe for us due to my trans-ness. We are working to make a transition to Colorado ASAP - late April or early May is the goal. As a disabled person, funds are limited, especially for something this complex and emergent. I have been assaulted twice, doxxed by the state, been told my Real ID driver's license is ‘fraudulent identification’ due to changing my gender with the DMV, therefore I cannot access SNAP, Medicaid, or other services needed, and the bills being passed that target trans folx are making all of this complicated and dangerous. It is not safe to fly and animals cannot go on Amtrak or Greyhound for that long. Therefore, we need:

Vehicle rental: ~$700

Gas: ~$600

Temp shelter expenses: ~$700

Laptop for employment needs: ~$500
