My name is Quinn, and I have identified as transgender for seven years. Every day, I think about what it would mean to feel truly comfortable in my body. For the past year, I’ve been saving as much as I can toward top surgery from my part time jobs, but I’m still quite short of what I need. Of the $13,000 I need, I currently have $8,500 saved thanks to your help! That's halfway there! With new transphobic laws being introduced, I’m worried that my window to access this life-changing care could close, even though I am a legal, consenting adult. I’m reaching out for help now so I can have surgery before it’s too late.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward the costs of surgery, including anesthesia , doctor’s fees, and necessary medications. I’m not receiving any financial support from my immediate family, and covering these expenses on my own has been a challenge. Getting this surgery would make a huge difference in my life. It would help me feel more confident and comfortable in my body, and would greatly improve my mental health and reduce my dissociation.
