Honoring Quincy: Support for her Husband & Daughter
Donation protected
On Monday, around 3 a.m., Quincy was found unresponsive by her husband, who performed life-saving CPR on the love of his life. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was placed in the ICU and put into a medically induced coma. At the time, all we knew was that in 24 hours, they would attempt to bring her out of the coma, and we would see what kind of damage had been done. The biggest question was: how long had she been without oxygen? There was no way to determine that. Now, we believe it was for a longer period than we had hoped.
We watched helplessly, clinging to hope for 24 hours until we learned that a brain injury was inevitable. The next question became: how extensive was the damage?
As you can imagine, an ambulance ride, extensive testing, life-saving measures, and more than three days (and counting) in the ICU in Arizona combined with the complete loss of income from a dual-working household have created an overwhelming financial burden. The uncertainty grows with each passing day. We are asking for your help. Quincy was selfless. She gave and gave, never hesitating to help others in need when she could whether through support, financial means, gifts, or simply pure love.
We have no answers. We wish we did. If only we did.
If you can support her family financially during this time, you would make a huge difference in her daughter's future as she navigates life without her mother.
We lost her, but we will rally.
