Quincy is our 9-month-old duck, and she’s been part of our family since she hatched with her bonded trio. She’s always been our pretty princess duck—calm, sweet, and very funny. We love her so much, and she brings so much joy to our lives every day.
Yesterday, Quincy was injured by one of our drakes. We immediately noticed something was wrong and rushed her to the emergency vet as soon as the avian vet was available. They confirmed she has a prolapse and will need surgery to fix it. Surgery on a duck is very expensive, and it may even have to happen today. We’re meeting with the lead avian vet to discuss the details and costs, but we know this is a big financial challenge for us.
The funds from this fundraiser will go directly to pay for Quincy’s surgery and any other treatment or medications she needs to recover. Any support you can give will help us get her the care she needs and means the world to our family. Thank you so much for reading and for caring about Quincy.
