Hi, my name is Daniel. I'm currently located on Colombia Medellin. My Best friend Quincy has been recently diagnosed with diabetes, and other severe complications unexpectedly on his travel to Colombia to visit me from Toronto, Canada. He's currently in a Colombian hospital bed bound and unable to return to Canada to seek medical attention because of the severity of his current condition. He's currently suffering from: pancreatitis, diabetes, and other life threatening complications infecting his other organs. Quincy is also struggling with uncontrollable sugar levels along with uncontrollable blood pressure levels that weren’t triggered until his flight to Colombia.
The doctors discourage and refuse discharge for Quincy to return to Canada because of the high-risk of his condition getting worse during transportation if we were to attempt to have Quincy sent back to Canada.
My wife who is currently 4 months pregnant is the one who's been translating for Quincy at the hospital and is unable to frequently be there with him during this sudden emergency. I'm not fluent in Spanish and unable to be much help in this situation. Her family is doing everything they can to help him out in areas where I can't, as well as friends from back home are working tirelessly on a solution.
I'm asking anyone back home or who can understand the severity of the situation, please help support Quincy's health and recovery.
(Updated) Your donations and support would help Jardine Alexander (Mother) with Quincy’s medical bills from the hospital along with funeral charges and other expenses involving her son Quincy's passing.
