Our beloved Quincy (my nephew) was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, a life-changing condition that requires constant monitoring and insulin management. We have recently learned about a groundbreaking new procedure that offers the hope of significantly reducing or even eliminating his need for insulin.

The medical team there have recommended that he undergo this procedure, which is set to take place next Thursday.

The procedure itself should be provided financially through medical coverage, but the necessary travel and stay for follow-up appointments are not. As such, we are reaching out for your support to help us cover these essential expenses.

We hope to raise $5,000 to ensure that Quincy can receive this treatment and the follow-up care he needs. The funds will be used for travel, accommodations, and any other expenses related to the trip.
