Help Quetzali's Family Overcome Crisis

Cassie, Julio and their 10 year old daughter Quetzali are going through an extremely difficult time and need your help.

I am making this go fund me to help them pay for:

-The ambulance ride from Cooley Dickinson in Northampton to Mass General in Boston.

-The missed work days for follow up at Shriners Pediatric Burn unit in Boston. (These visits are at least once a week and between traffic and parking take the entire day.)

-Co-pays for these 2 ER visits at Cooley Dickinson and Mass General.

-The gas money.

-Incidental travel expenses.

- Missing work to stay home with Quetzali because she can't go to camp and do other normal summer activities like this.

"On Saturday (6/29/2024) Quetzali was burned when a can of spray paint exploded by a small outdoor fire. She received excellent care both at the Cooley Dickinson ER and Mass General in Boston. Her wounds will heal, we are so grateful she had her glasses on and that her uncle Cody was nearby and swiftly removed her shirt and put out her hair, which were both engulfed in flames. Cassie is my cousin, her and Julio are both work full time and have 4 children including Quetzali. Cassie recently changed jobs this summer and that means she has a full deductible to pay in addition to copays once that is met. She just started a new job she doesn't have the sick time earned that she would other wise be able to use in a situation like this.
