Help queer lebanese recover and rebuild

We are reaching out to our community to support a dear friend in urgent need of a safe space. They have been living quite precariously as a result of the dwindling economic collapse in Lebanon with the job scarcity and the rising price of all basic living necessities. All the while living in an impoverished space, with their family that barely possess the means to secure a good living themselves, and environment unfit for growth - personal and collective.
having suffered back in 2019 with a major mental health fallout, and having to basically tend for their health left them out of the social and career world, all to finally get better and face the dire social and economic reality of present day Lebanon. Amidst this ongoing backlash and economic downturn, harsh discrimination and lack of access to jobs and basic needs, they have recently experienced a traumatic accident as a result of falling down the stairs and breaking their jaw, which left them unconscious for an hour, unattended for, in a entrance of a building in Beirut.
This incident was the breaking point, as they are now in place that requires any support to get them back on their feet again.
We’ve decided to start a gofund me, and we aim to raise $15,000 to:
•Relocate: Secure an apartment for one year and cover essential living expenses and bills.
•Dental Care: Provide necessary jaw reconstructive surgery and teeth implant to improve their ability to chew and speak properly.
•Mental Healthcare: Ensure consistent access to mental health care, including therapy and necessary medications.
•Supporting a family member (mother) with her 6months treatment for Tuberous sclerosis and basic life essentials which are out of reach for the time being.
Your contribution will directly impact their life, offering a lifeline to rebuild, thrive and to proceed working on pending projects.
Please join us in creating a foundation for recovery, hope, and healing! Every bit of support would help greatly in bringing us closer to giving our friend the chance they deserve.
