Help queer Black young adult find safe housing

Hi, my name is Alexis and I am fundraising for a very close friend of mine. This person wanted to remain anonymous to protect their safety, but they're extremely grateful. I'm hoping to raise $3,000 to secure safe housing for them; they are currently living in a homophobic and abusive household. It's really important that they can get out of this situation as soon as possible. They're currently living in the same room where they were sexually assaulted and with parents who are not supportive of their queer identity. Living in this space has been extremely detrimental to their mental health and it's inhibiting them from moving forwards with their personal goals. They have a job, but hours are unreliable so they need a stable situation to move forward to find a new one. We are aiming to raise $3,000 to secure 2 months rent for an apartment, along with basic utilities and other needs. Thank you so much for your support!
