Hello , my name is Queena. I’m a mother of 2 working to rebuild a stable life for my children. These past few years have been incredibly hard. We’ve experienced homelessness, slept in our car, stayed in affordable motels, and rotated through 60-day shelters, all while trying to hold onto hope and keep moving forward.

Despite everything, I’ve stayed focused on keeping my kids safe, loved, and supported. Now, we finally have a chance at a fresh start: a clean safe apartment we can call home. Getting approved hasn’t been easy, especially without meeting all the income and credit requirements, but I made it through. After many, many denials and tears, I’ve been approved for a place Unfortunately, I’ve used every last dollar getting to this point, and I need help covering the security deposit and move-in costs.

I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for support from anyone willing to help us take this next step toward stability. Every dollar will go directly toward our deposit and moving expenses. Any amount, big or small, brings us closer to having a permanent home, a space where my children can finally feel secure and begin to heal.

Telling the world what I’m going through is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. As an independent mother, asking for help doesn’t come easy. It puts me in a vulnerable place, open to judgment but for my children, I’m willing to do whatever it takes.
