My name is Brittany Glover aka Queen Picasso. I've been selected to participate in the largest traveling African Diasporic Art Exhibition in the United States, I feel truly honored and inspired! This fundraiser will help me cover the fees/expenses associated with the exhibition.
Art has been a passion of mine since childhood, beginning with creating alongside my grandmother, an incredible seamstress and crafter. In high school I discovered architecture, later earning my bachelor’s degree in the Bay Area, where I trained my eye to see the world through lines, forms, and spatial composition, a foundation that still shapes my practice today. My work balances precision and flow, geometric strength and organic movement. I create across acrylics, mixed media, and digital art, layering emotion, memory, and environment into visual narratives. The process is spiritual for me, both a release and a dialogue with the viewer. My inspiration comes from lived experience, cultural identity, and my city, Philadelphia—its resilience, rhythm, and stories fuel my creativity. I’ve showcased my work across the U.S., from Philadelphia and Delaware to Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, LA, and DC, and with your support I can add NYC to the list!
Thank you in advance ❤️
