Help Quan's stroke recovery

Hi everyone, my name Dominique and I've created this GoFundMe on behave of my nephew Quan Howard. This is a letter that no one would never want to write, but unfortunately I must for my family. I received a phone from my sister last night informing me that my 17yr old nephew had a massive stroke and was getting brain surgery to remove the blood clot. The surgery was a success, but unfortunately he went into cardiac arrest. It took doctors 4 minutes to bring him back. The only thing I could think of is how can a 17yr have a stroke? We've found out that he had a undiagnosed heart condition that he's had since birth. He is stable at the moment and giving my sister hand squeezes, which is very reassuring for us. I spoke to my nephew recently and the conversation was about what colleges he was applying to. He's a honour roll student with all AP classes. He was wanting to major in computer engineering. Its been less than 24 hours since I received that life changing phone call. My sister is beside herself and trying to be as strong as she can for his sake. My nephew has a very long journey of recovery. He will need a lot of rehabilitation to restore functional abilities.
