Hi, my name is Q. I’m a mom of two — my 10-year-old son who’s full of life and curiosity, and my 1-year-old baby who lights up every room. Like so many families right now, we’re fighting hard to keep a roof over our heads and prevent homelessness.

This hasn’t been easy to write, but I know that asking for help is better than silently drowning. I’ve always worked hard to provide for my kids, but unexpected hardships have hit us all at once — rising rent, childcare costs, and financial setbacks that left us barely able to breathe. I’m doing everything I can to catch up and rebuild, but right now we’re at risk of losing our home.

I want my kids to have stability, safety, and a chance to grow up without the fear of “where will we sleep tonight?” hanging over their heads. Every single donation — big or small — will go directly toward keeping us housed, covering essentials, and giving me the space to get back on solid ground.
