Help Qasims Family Survive in Gaza
I am Qasim, a 17-year-old from Gaza, and I'm reaching out to you for help. The recent conflict has turned my family's life upside down, leaving us displaced and struggling to meet our basic needs.
Before the war, we lived in northern Gaza, where my father battled illness. However, the violence forced us to flee to the south, particularly to Deir al-Balah, leaving behind our home, which was tragically destroyed by bombings.
My family consists of eight members, including three boys, three girls, my parents, and myself. With our home reduced to rubble, we now reside in a makeshift tent, which, regrettably, collapsed during heavy rainfall. Our living conditions are dire, with no electricity and meals cooked over open fires.
The cost of living has skyrocketed, making it incredibly challenging to afford essentials like food and clean drinking water. Previously affordable items are now beyond our reach, exacerbating the difficulties we face daily. Moreover, the lack of proper sanitation has led to an increase in disease-spreading insects, compounding the health risks we already face due to malnutrition.
Despite the hardships, I dream of pursuing a degree in product design at university. However, with our current situation, it feels like an impossible dream.
Your support could make a world of difference to my family and me. With your generosity, we can access vital resources like food, water, and medical care for my father's treatment. Additionally, your contributions can help us rebuild our lives by providing shelter and necessities to sustain us during these challenging times.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to a brighter future. Your kindness and compassion can help us overcome the adversity we face and restore hope in our hearts.
Thank you for considering our plight and extending a helping hand in our time of need. Together, we can make a difference and rebuild what has been lost.
Warm regards,
Qasim and Family
