Q's Heart Is Too Big

My sweet 14-year-old pup, Quila, was recently diagnosed with an enlarged heart, and her heart murmur has gotten worse. Over the past few weeks, we've made multiple trips to the vet because of a persistent cough caused by her heart pressing on her airways. Most recently, after a fun day at the dog park, Q had a scary fainting episode that sent us to the emergency room. Her little heart just can’t keep up with all the things she still wants to do.

As many of you know, I’m doing this on my own, and the medical bills have quickly become overwhelming—thousands in just the past month alone. Q is currently on temporary heart medication, but she still needs more diagnostic testing, including additional X-rays and an echocardiogram, so we can figure out the best treatment plan for her moving forward.
