Help Put Starry’s Twinkling Path in Libraries

Hi, I’m Tiffanie, a children’s book author, loss mom, and mother to three beautiful children: Aiden who is 8, and my daughters Starry and Autumn, who both passed away just 10 months apart.

There aren’t words for that kind of heartbreak, but I tried to find some anyway. That is how Starry’s Twinkling Path came to be.

I wrote the book through fresh, layered grief as a way to help my son process two unimaginable losses. I wrote it for other children like him, who have lost someone close to their heart. I wrote it for families who sit in silence at bedtime, unsure of what to say. 

And in doing that, I healed a piece of myself, too.

About the Book

Starry’s Twinkling Path is a soft, heartfelt story told from the perspective of a little star who must say goodbye. It explains death and continued love in a gentle, age-appropriate way helping children navigate grief without fear.

But it’s not just for children.

It’s also a gift to grieving parents, caregivers, and teachers. Sometimes the books we read to comfort our children end up comforting us, too.

At the back of the book, I’ve included a memorial section, a place to honor the names of babies and children gone too soon. Families can request to add their child’s name, and I update this section each year in a new release. It’s a growing constellation of remembrance. A way for grieving families to see that their child’s life still matters and is still remembered.

Why I’m Crowdfunding

So far, I’ve:

• Published the book in English through Amazon KDP

• Translated it into multiple languages

• Donated dozens of copies to hospitals, funeral homes, and foundations using 100% of my personal royalties

Now I’m ready to expand the reach even further and I need help to do it.

My dream is to make Starry’s Twinkling Path available in:

• Public libraries

• School libraries

• Therapist offices and trauma-informed classrooms

These are the places where grieving children and families often search for help sometimes without even knowing what they’re looking for. But public and school libraries don’t order from Amazon (usually anyways). To be more accessible to them, I need to publish the book through IngramSpark, the distribution platform used by libraries and bookstores.
