Shane was a close family friend who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Despite facing a long battle with depression, he remained a kind and loving person. Life was not easy for Shane—he had more than his share of bad luck, struggled with poor health, and often felt isolated. Without a car or financial resources, he sometimes felt like a burden to those around him, but to us, he was never a burden—he was a cherished friend.

Recently, Shane lost his battle with depression and passed away on New Years Eve. His loss has left a deep ache in our hearts. Shane’s family is now facing the heartbreaking reality of not being able to afford his cremation and memorial. We want to honor his memory and give him the farewell he deserves, but we need help to make this possible.

Shane deserved all the happiness he struggled to feel. He had a gentle spirit and a sweet tooth—he loved gummy bears and even passed away with a handful in his pocket.
