I've been taking care of my sister Dollie for 26 years she is 57 has down syndrome, Alzheimer's and physical limitations as well. I therefore need a lift seat (turney seat) that will pick her up and place her in the Vehicle safely as she is unable to operate a wheelchair or walk safely up a ramp I've asked the state to help me with this and based on everything I've heard the maximum I could receive after different organizations helping with form for state takes their portion it's $5600 plus a possible Grant of 3000. None of which is Definite. I have purchased a vehicle especially for this equipment thinking that the state would come up with at least 10000 or that's what I was originally told. In an effort to keep her living with me instead of some kind of assisted living as she has always lived with family,, I am asking for help with this..I have 3 quotes..1 between 11,000 and 12,000 the other 2 between 13,000 and 14,000..I would love to get this done asap.
