Purple Bloom School is seeking your support and generosity to help move past the unfortunate event that occurred on Thursday, October 29, 2026. At 11:44 p.m., a drunk driver drove across the field, across the driveway, through our landscaping and parking lot, and crashed into our PreK classroom window, fleeing the scene and leaving behind an unconscious passenger.

The result to the classroom was catastrophic — toys, curriculum materials, personal belongings, social-emotional resources, regulatory necessities, furniture, and more all needed to be thrown out due to the mess that used to host our "Curious Cubbies." Staff and students are having to be displaced to different classrooms as a result.

To help cover the costs of the damages, deductibles, replacement items, displacement of staff and students, cleanup crews, temporary closure, mental recovery, and other collateral damage, Purple Bloom School is asking for support from the community.
