Hi, my name is Stacie Dillon, and I’m asking for help for my dog, Purdy—who truly means the world to me.
Recently, we were out at the sandbar, and for the first time since last summer, I let her off her leash so she could run and enjoy herself. She was so happy, chasing after some geese and just being her playful self. But in a split second, everything changed—she stepped wrong and seriously injured her leg.
It was heartbreaking to see. She’s now in a lot of pain, and the injury is severe. The vet told me she needs surgery where they actually have to cut the bone and turn it to fix the damage. It’s a complicated procedure, and the cost is more than I can handle on my own.
Purdy isn’t just a pet—she’s the sweetest, most loving dog you could ever meet. Her personality lights up every room, and she has a way of stealing everyone’s heart instantly. Seeing her hurt like this has been incredibly hard.
I’m asking for help to cover the cost of her surgery and care so she can heal and get back to being her happy, loving self again.
