Help purchasing the tools of my trade

Hi, I made this GoFundMe to help raise money for my college expenses and welding equipment and consumable supplies. I was accepted into Northeastern Junior College for the welding program. I am the first in my family to make it to college.

With the monthly cost of college I'm concerned we will not be able to get the supplies needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A little backstory; I became interested in becoming a welder in the welding program at BoulderTec. Mr Whitehead my instructor inspired me to pursue a career in welding.

After completion of my Associates Degree in applied science I would like to work on an oil rig near Galveston Texas for a couple of years and then hopefully be recruited by a company that manufactures wind or solar energy equipment. While some of my supplies will be replaced every couple of months (leather gloves lens for my welding helmet, grinding disks) other tools will be an investment that spans my welding career.
