Hi, my name is Gina. I am reaching out to anyone who may have known my friend, Raymond H. Watson, Jr., who passed on February 12, 2021.  I am raising money to purchase a marker for his grave at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery.

 

Ray was a special individual and I am blessed to have known him for over 10 years.  No one was a stranger to Ray for he considered you his friend from the first hello.  He was a happy, outgoing and generous person, who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  He often rode the trolley into downtown Pittsburgh and made many friends on the “T”.  He was a natural conversationalist, and was extremely knowledgeable about a vast array of subjects.  l enjoyed many conversations with him while commuting from work.

 

Ray never married or had children.  His mother was his life and after her passing in 2012 his health started to decline.  As time went on his health issues increased and eventually he went to Michigan to live with his cousin’s family until his passing last February.  I visited his grave today and realized that it is unmarked.  I created this gofundme page to raise money for a marker for his grave.  Please prayerfully consider making a donation to help to keep Ray’s memory alive.  Thank you and may God bless you.
