Hi,

Our names are Rebecca and Izzy and our Labradoodle Puppy Bella is 12 weeks old. I posted not long ago on the Sunshine Coast Community Board on Facebook, as she was very unwell and I was hoping for advice on which vet would be best. Even though we are in Eidsvold, we decided on North Coast Veterinary Specialists in Sippy Downs.

Bella was originally diagnosed with Neosporosis, but it now looks as though she may have a rare form of meningitis. She’s been in vet hospital for almost 10 days now, and it’s cost approximately 7k so far; inclusive of blood tests, steroid treatments, ongoing fluids, antibiotics, pain killers, 24 hour hospital care, CT scans, an MRI and a spinal tap to be completed tomorrow.

She’s become a bit of a medical mystery in the veterinarian world… but our specialists don’t want us giving up on this happy, sweet, gorgeous little pup of ours. And neither do we. Our family, her mum Daisy, and our 2 kittens are missing her terribly, and we all want her home. We just need some help… please.
