Punjab Is Underwater — Help Us Rebuild Lives
More than 5 million people across Indian Punjab have lost everything in the worst floods the region has seen in decades. I’m launching this fundraiser because people are suffering — right now. They urgently need food, shelter, medical care, and a path to recovery.
What Happened?
In August and September 2025, unprecedented monsoon rains, overflowing dams, and flash floods devastated large parts of Punjab, India. What should have been fertile land ready for harvest is now a muddy, broken wasteland.
Over 2,000 villages are submerged
More than 5 million people displaced
Farmlands covering 1.5 million+ acres destroyed
Hundreds of thousands of livestock lost
Dozens dead — many still missing
Towns like Mansa, Sangrur, Patiala, Fazilka, and Ferozepur are underwater. Roads have disappeared. Homes are gone. Families are taking shelter in school buildings, under flyovers, or wherever dry ground remains. Relief is scattered, and much of rural Punjab is still waiting for help to arrive.
These are not just numbers. These are mothers who can’t feed their children, elders with no medicine, farmers who watched their fields disappear overnight, and entire families with nothing but the clothes they escaped in.
Why I’m Raising Funds
This is personal.
Whether you have family in Punjab, spiritual ties to the land, or simply feel moved by the suffering of innocent people — now is the time to act. Government relief has started to arrive, but it’s not enough, and it's not fast. The people of Punjab cannot wait.
With your help, we can fund:
Emergency food and clean water
Tents, tarps, mattresses, and other shelter supplies
Medical care, medicines, and hygiene kits
Rebuilding rural homes and schools
Restoring farmlands and basic irrigation
Feed and veterinary care for surviving animals
Every rupee and dollar will go toward helping real people in real villages across Indian Punjab — not to overhead, not to bureaucracy.
Where Will the Money Go?
100% of funds raised will be directed to verified, transparent NGOs and local volunteer groups that are active right now in flood-affected districts of Punjab. I am working to ensure that every donation reaches the ground without delays.
Organizations we are partnering with or vetting include:
Khalsa Aid India
Hemkunt Foundation
SEWA Punjab
Local gurdwaras and panchayats already coordinating relief in villages
Regular updates, photos, and receipts will be posted here as funds are distributed, so you’ll always know where your donation went and who it helped.
How You Can Help
Donate what you can — no amount is too small. Even 100 or $5 can provide clean water or a hot meal to someone tonight.
Share this campaign — Send it on WhatsApp, post on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.
Reach out — If you know of trustworthy organizations or volunteers on the ground in Punjab, please connect them with us.
This Is a Moment for Solidarity
Punjab has always given — to India, to the world. Its farmers feed millions. Its spirit uplifts. Now, Punjab needs us.
Let’s not wait for someone else to act. Let’s stand together. Let’s rebuild — village by village, family by family.
Please donate. Please share. Please care
