Help Pumpkin Recover she was shot by NY state Police

Hello my name is Dammian, if you know me you know my best friend and partner in crime is my Dog Pumpkin. She’s an American bully. And the sweetest most docile dog .Two days ago a NY state trooper rang my doorbell and as usual and as any dog would, my dog ran outside and barked because the officer’s back was to us and his car was not visible, within seconds he took out his gun and shot at her 7 times striking her twice. Bullets ricocheted right near me as I stood a couple feet away. This whole situation is very traumatizing and my dog is in a Veterinarian Hospital with a bullet lodged in her leg, they say she could lose her leg. The vet bills are extremely high and I need any help I can get as a file a lawsuit, if you could please anything would help, Thank you for your time and compassion if you were able to read this.
