Help Pumpkin Recover from Life-Threatening Illness
Donation protected
Dear loved ones,
We are Athena Miller and Heather Kounthapanya, the parents of Pumpkin, and it breaks our hearts that we are fundraising for our sweet member to our little family.
On July 23, 2024, Pumpkin’s body began to attack itself, leaving her anemic and in a life-threatening situation.
Pumpkin suffers from an unknown infection that completely shut down her body and led to the loss of a significant amount of Red Blood Cells. She has been immobile and unable to eat or drink for over 72 hours and will be unable to fully recover on her own without blood transfusions and rehabilitation for a long time.
7/25/24 UPDATE— With the possibility of this being an effect of an autoimmune disease, leukemia, or cancer, we may be looking at a life-long care, if she makes it through with no complications.
Between the medical care, recovery, and financial hardship on us, who have taken time off from work to help with 24/7 rehabilitation care—Pumpkin's medical bills will be astronomical and long-term.
We would like to share where these gifts will be distributed:
• Medical Bills
• Rehabilitation In-patient & Out-patient Bills
• Blood Transfusions
• Medication Prescriptions
• Lab Testing for the Unknown Infection
• At-Home Hospice Care
• Gifting to Pumpkin for this painful and traumatic time in her life.
Please consider helping our family by taking away the stress of these expenses and other needs that arise.
We are so grateful for any amount of help. Thank you from the bottom of all our hearts.
God Bless,
Athena Miller and Heather Kounthapanya
