Help Pumpkin Receive the Care He Needs

Hi!

My name is Leah Long and I am trying to raise funds for vet fees to take my leopard gecko, Pumpkin, to the vet. Pumpkin is going on 5 years old, so he is still extremely young for a leopard gecko as they can live to 20 years old. Recently, he has been feeling a little under the weather. His sex organs look to be stuck outside of his body, which caused them to dry up, crack, and bleed. Since then, I have been putting Vaseline on the area and soaking him daily to keep him humid and from bleeding. While this helps how he feels currently, I am noticing no improvement from him and believe it is time for him to be seen by a vet. He has also recently shown signs of mouth rot, which can happen when they are under stress (he is stressed due to his sex organs being stuck out), and that requires antibiotics. I want to try and get him to the vet as soon as possible, but the fee for him to even be seen is $250, plus a quote that can be upwards of $1,000 for his care. I just want more time with my best friend and I want him to get the care he deserves. I am a college student at Kent State studying Business Management with a Music minor, and I am from rural Ohio, so I just don't have a lot of funds available to me.
