UPDATE: Pumpkin passed peacefully in our home with the help of Dr. Garcia from Lap of Love on February 6th, 2026. He fought really hard, but the cancer was just too aggressive. Thank you to everyone who supported him.

Pumpkin is our 12-year-old rescue orange tabby and a deeply loved member of our family. He came into our lives unexpectedly (at Atlanta Pride of all places) and has been a constant source of comfort, love, and companionship ever since.

Recently, Pumpkin was diagnosed with stomach cancer, and his medical care has quickly become overwhelming. He is currently hospitalized until he can see his oncologist Monday morning (2/2) We are raising funds to help cover his emergency and ongoing veterinary treatment so we can give him the comfort, care, and quality of life he deserves during this incredibly difficult time. We have insurance for him, but it doesn’t cover the costs up front and doesn’t cover 100% of the treatment.
