Pumpkin was only supposed to be in our lives for a couple of weeks as a foster, but we couldn't give him up after getting to know his sweet and loving personality. We had been told that he had terminal cancer and that there was no hope for him, so it would be a fospice (foster hospice) situation.

Fortunately, that may not actually be the case! His stellar team of oncologists are very hopeful that Pumpkin's cancer would respond well
to electrochemotherapy! The only issue is that Silicon Vallet Pet Project, his "rescue", has refused to pay for any treatment of any sort.

Pumpkin doesn't know he's sick. He is young, playful, and wants nothing more than to be with the people he loves. Time and time again, people have let him down. He developed skin cancer because he didn't have a home and lived outside, unprotected from the sun. He's gone without treatment for months because no one wanted to "deal" with the costs or inconvenience associated with a cat with cancer. Yet he still is the sweetest cat with the loudest purr you could ever imagine. Unless you're a toy mouse, then you're dead meat!
