Update April 3rd 3:55

Surprisingly cosmo is a lot more alert today, he ate & drank and isn't as dizzy / lethargic. Hes been more alert and everything... so much so that I couldn't do it today. I did order a liver supplement that people use for liver failure. Maybe a miracle can happen and he can be comfortable with lots of fluid and care. But idk for how long. Once he stops eating, stops being himself, i think it'll be time. But right now isn't calling for him to say goodbye. Idk. His spasms are even gone from pain that he was having two days ago. Update April 2nd 7:07

After our vet visit today we got his numbers. It isn't good. His liver is showing insanely high amounts in a lot of results. He is slowly dying. Even in the vet it would take upwards of 10 days in the hospital.. I need to raise the rest of the money for a peaceful at home euhanization for him as he's my best friend and doesn't deserve pain. please share this where you can. please pray he gets to pass peacefully.

Where do i start... cosmo has been by my side for years now. Hes been through a lot when it comes to his health as some pugs experience. Early on we noticed seizures and got them under control, after that he developed acute pancreatitis that he had to get hospitalized for. But since then his health has been fine, up until this week.. after a pancreatis flare up / feeling off i took him to the vet and I found out he has signs of jaundice. His vital signs as of right now seem okay, but the jaundice is extremely concerning since he has been puking a lot, not being able to eat much, and pretty lethargic.

The vet has suggested he stays in the hospital for a night or two, but that would be upwards of 4000$... I really want to save him & get him all the care he needs to get the jaundice under control or at least have more answers to where it could be coming from and what is the best action moving forward. Anything helps, i never really ask anyone for money but I am not in a good financial spot as of right now. If it comes down to it, I'll make the decision to bring him peace rather than fight.

all money will be used towards more checkups & hospital fees if needed. I can provide receipts to those who donate and are curious on his progression.

His follow up appointment is tomorrow April 2nd.

Update: April 2nd, 9:45am

As of right now I'm making calls to the vet & H&R block. I'm going to get my taxs done right away to try and get instant cash to use it towards his bills. But I might need to reschedule the vet appointment to later, or tomorrow morning because H&R only has 3 times that interfere with my vet times as well. Today with medication cosmo has seemed in less pain; but it's still there. I will continue to monitor him as I wait for my call from the vet to talk about the interfering times
