Hello! I'm Pudge and My Tummy Hurts.

Donation protected

Hello There! I'm Pudge.

I'm a 12 year young gal in charge of my household. My favorite hobbies are asking for food, looking out the window, complaining in my protest box, tickling my nose with my twinkle balls, doing kitty puzzles to find treats, and gracing my humans laps and laptops with my presence. I go on walks with my humans, too! I like smelling everything and rolling around.

I got a really bad tummy ache got sick a few times around the house. I didn't want to move and felt like I was going to get sick again so I crouched in a comfy spot and kept licking my lips trying to get the feeling to go away. My humans came to see what was wrong and tried to feel my tummy but it really hurt and I meowed and ran under the table to tell them to stop. They took me to a place that poked me all night. It was scary. When I got home, I hid under the bed to take a nap. When I woke up, I felt worse. Food smelled really bad and every time I moved my tummy hurt me so I stretched out in a way that made me more comfortable and didn't move even when they poked me. My humans brought me back to the scary place and they poked me more, made me sleepy, and I lost time. I didn't even know what day it was. I thought I would never go home and my tummy still hurt, but it hurt less and I got to go home.

Hello, I'm Taylor, Pudge's human.

Pudge is the sweetest and most gentle fuzzball I know. She even makes sure to not hurt me with her claws when I pick her up and when I'm playing with her. She is soo smart! She knows tricks and can learn a trick in a single day! Most importantly, she knows when I am sad and comes to comfort me. She got sick so fast that I didn't know what to do. I decided to take her into the vet and she was diagnosed with pancreatitis. The vet wanted to check her organs to see if that is the only thing going on, which there is. The doctor thinks that the crystals in her gallbladder caused pancreatitis. That caused her other organs to start showing signs of distress. Her prognosis is good and she has started to become interested in food again.

The tests, medication, hospital stay, and more got very expensive quickly and she still needs to follow up with her regular doctor for more tests to see how she is recovering. I am asking for help with her medical bills in the past and those still to come. I already covered most of it, we would just need help covering the rest.

Thank you so much for your help for my Pudge. I will be posting updates on her recovery.
