UPDATE 3: Great news! We've bought ISBNs and registered at the Library of Congress. Thanks to you, publishing will now be a reality!!! We've begun work on the website, too, but any little bit would help us be able to launch it sooner! Ultimately, however, your prayers and support and words of encouragement are what really move us forward! Thank you all so very much, and above all thank God our Father through Jesus Christ!

UPDATE 1: Thank you, and thank God for you! For supporting this effort, the Gieschen Foundation will be sending a copy of Evangelion to anyone who donates $50, as well as an additional copy for every $50 donated on top of that. It’s pretty simple. Here’s how it works. When you donate:
· $50 – You receive one copy of Evangelion.
· $100 – Two copies of Evangelion
· $150 – Three copies of Evangelion
· $200 – You get the idea :-)
Don’t need so many copies? Share with your friends, family, church, and library! Currently we are projected to start printing around the middle of January, so you should receive your copy (or copies) of Evangelion by about January 31st, 2021. My name is James Gieschen. I am a brother in our Lord from Community Lutheran Church in Honolulu, Hawaii. For the past three years, I have been putting together a work called Evangelion.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Evangelion is a chronological harmony of the four Gospels. In other words, Evangelion synthesizes the four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—into a single, continuous, comprehensive narrative of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
The product of strict exegesis combined with a deep respect for the conservative history and traditions of the Church, Evangelion is arranged according to the words of Scripture itself. External sources and traditions have been thoroughly examined as well, in order to provide a sort of “third-party” independent opinion as to the preferred chronological order. These sources include Tatian’s Diatessaron, Toynard’s Evangeliorum Harmonia, Broadus’ and A.T. Robertson’s A Harmony of the Gospels, and more.
By the grace of God and due to the generosity of the contributors at the Wartburg Project, the translation and footnotes used throughout Evangelion are from the Evangelical Heritage Version® (EHV®) of the Bible.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
To date, the manuscript has been submitted, the copyright has been registered, the cover has been designed. And now, we’re ready to print. But since we're publishing this independently, we still need to complete two final steps. The first is an ISBN, which is an international serial number basically required to distribute this work. The second is a website. We’ve already received requests to pre-order, and a website will give us the platform to facilitate this. Together, these will cost between $500-$1000.
If you believe in this project, and you want to help it succeed, please consider contributing to the GoFundMe campaign for our non-profit organization, the Gieschen Foundation. Our goal is to raise at least $1000 as soon as possible, so that we can publish and print Evangelion as soon as possible. And please share with others!
