My 16-year-old son was murdered 39 years ago. My family has dealt with this horrific loss and has had to deal with the judicial system as well, which victimizes you all over again. We first dealt with the 2 years it took to get his murderer convicted and sentenced to life. Then, 25 years later, we had to start dealing with the parole process every year.

We have learned a lot and had some success from our efforts. I have written a book describing our saga, with the idea of sharing this with other victims of violent crime to ease their burden.

The book is complete but I am having difficulty getting the book published and marketed without an upfront payment of about $5,000, which I cannot do.
