As many of you know, my older brother Russell Douglas Nevin Jr. passed away early June 4, 2020 at the age of 33. He struggled for many years with addiction and fought hard to overcome his disease so that he may always be able to care for and provide for my niece Jessica Anne Nevin who is 10 years old. Due to his sudden loss, my step mom Leslie, will care for Jessica.
In order to keep them in their current home, provide for all of Jessica's needs, and allow Leslie some time off to guide Jessica through the grief process while grieving herself. I have set up this GoFundMe, in Hope's to help provide for both Jessica's needs and to help give Russ a proper burial, as his passing was sudden there were no plans in place.
We know there is alot going on in the world right now, so if you can spare anything at this time, any amount helps. If you're unable to, if you could please share.
Addiction is a horrible disease that truly affects the whole family and we thank you so much for your support and prayers at this time.
Additionally, if you would like to donate and avoid the GoFundMe fees, we will accept venmo payments as well.
ALL money raised will go to services for Russell and to help with Jessica's care directly.
