As wind and wildfires rage across LA, we have 2 Special Education team members who have tragically lost everything when their homes were destroyed. Our team members and their families are safe, but we want to support them at this difficult time while they work to rebuild their lives.
If you feel moved to help, a financial contribution would be greatly appreciated.
Below are some details about the team members I'm fundraising for. Please note, all donations will be divided equally between these 2 people.
- Akko N, Adapted PE - Her family of 4 lost their home, but are thankful to all be safe and healthy. She and her husband are both educators, and have 10 & 11 years old beautiful girls. They've lived in Altadena since 2013.
- Kevin H, Adapted PE - He has have lived in Altadena for 22 years, where he and his wife Lucy raised their daughter. Tuesday night they evacuated their home and only grabbed a couple of items thinking they would return soon. They are grateful to be alive and feel terrible for their neighbors and others affected by the fires.
