My name is Jean McCarthy, I live in London and I’ve known and loved Mo @helpcatsmsallam for about 6 years. I offered to host this gofundme for Mohammed Sallam to help him to help his neighbours in northern Gaza.

Dear friends of Mo

As Mo has explained to us on twitter he would like to purchase a solar power system to operate the pump of the well in his garden. His dream is to have pipe work laid in his street so that 100 families can be provided with clean fresh water. This will make a huge difference to their lives.

He has found a system for sale which has 8 solar panels with 4 batteries for storage. This has the capability to pump 20,000 litres of water per day, 30,000 litres if it’s very sunny. The seller wants $7,000 for this system A plumber and electrician will be needed to dismantle the system and install it at Mo’s house. Pipes and wiring etc will need to be purchased and Mo estimates that this together with the labour costs will be another $3,000.

This is a very worthwhile project which could save lives in Gaza as he can also provide his neighbours with power so that they can charge their mobile phones and batteries for lighting so if you would like to support Mo in his dream please hit the DONATE button! Thank you so much.
